Sales Development Representative

About the Role: 

We’re seeking a qualified Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our London based sales team. The SDR is a newly created position, with the objective of further accelerating sales growth. The SDR will be responsible for finding and screening potential customers for our brand lift measurement products. 

This is a target-based role, with responsibility for generating “Intro Call” meetings with highly qualified leads for Sales Account Directors. The SDR will work closely with the marketing team as the first line of communication with a prospect. The ideal SDR has a strong understanding of the sales process and excels at researching, developing and qualifying leads, setting up the sales closers (Account Directors) for success. The role requires someone who is a quick learner with strong communication skills and an ability to quickly understand our product offerings and pitch them effectively based on the buyer persona.

The Role reports to the Account Director - New Business, with a dotted line into the CGO (Marketing). 

Objectives

  • Represent On Device’s products, using comprehensive product and market knowledge to explain how our solutions meet customer needs.

  • Generate leads and build relationships to qualify and nurture prospects through to the first “Intro Call” meeting.

  • Manage and maintain a pipeline of interested prospects and engage Account Directors in next steps.

  • Identify and positively influence gatekeepers, pitching our products and methodologies against competitor offerings

  • Identify best practices for refining the company’s lead-generation playbook and sales collateral.

Responsibilities

  • Utilise Hubspot, list research, data enrichment, email sequences and other techniques to generate new sales opportunities.

  • Identify ICPs and complete the discovery process to qualify leads as SQL and understand the client’s problem and the appropriate product solution.

  • Build long-term, trusting relationships with prospects to generate sales opportunities for products with a long buying-cycle.

  • Set up and participate in “Intro call” meetings between SQL and Account Directors. 

  • Report on lead funnel performance on a weekly basis and devise and document strategies to refine our lead development playbook to increase the number of booked “Intro calls”.

Requirements

  • One of more years of experience in sales, with a track record of exceeding lead generation targets.

  • Proven success in achieving meetings targets and screening for high-intent to buy.

  • Strong communication skills via email and phone.

  • Highly organised with proficiency in Hubspot or other CRM software.

  • Effective with Sales Navigator, Apollo, ZoomInfo or equivalent research and list generation tools.

  • Ability to work effectively between the sales and marketing functions to continually optimise our end to end sales process.

  • Previous experience with brand lift, measurement products or high volume SAAS sales is highly desirable.
